Right, today the French model met the Arabic businessman :)
We met on facebook a few weeks before when I joined a group to know more about Guangzhou. He told me he'll arrive to the city soon and proposed me his help.
YES MUM AND DAD, I'M AWARE I SHOULDN'T ACCEPT TO MEET SOMEONE I DON'T KNOW :)
Like in Business, everyone knows life is made of risks, which are often essential get to know great people or opportunities.
So, I just had to catch a taxi and to go to the Garden hotel to meet him at the end of the afternoon. Didn't really know how he looked like,(he knew more about my appearance than knew about its :) I was looking for Maher in this luxury hotel, where a waterfall stands out behind the lobby.
We met at the second flor where he recognized me at the first glance.
We stopped at the hotel's bar and drunk some coffee. He offered me a christmas starbuck cup so as a Carolina Herrera perfume: great smell!
Then we went shopping at the Teemall cause I had (I still have) to find a coat before going to Seoul after tomorrow, it's SUPERCOLD there!
As you know my difficulties to find cothes at my taste and also which can fit me, I still didnt find anything!
Tirred after walking around the mall without getting anything we went to a Turkish restaurant. I was "sceptique" about this kind of food. I still remebered one of my last "Turkish food try", that was in Istanbul a few years ago. I and Daddy stopped to grab a "traditional kebab": the taste was a desaster! I mean the mutton seemed so old, you know this smell de vieux bouc.. haha
Anyway, we went to this famous restaurant where I felt like if I would be in Turkey!
Where is the Chinese community? Would the door (separating the street and the restaurant) be the frontier btw China and Turkey? It could be, at least the time of a (delicious) dinner. We ordered almost all the menu, tried so many varietes of Turkish pizzas, bread, hummus, the desserts were like a "little taste of paradise". Ce riz au lait si onctueux, parfume au caramel dont mes papilles se delectent encore.
Still those "wordless" Turkish pastries (no loukum or Alva this time) simplement de formidables "etouffe-chretiens" comme des cornes de gazelle... MIAM MIAM MIAM le tout accompagne d'un caffe turque tres.. serre!
We talked a lot, speaking about politic, religion, cultural differences, the importance of the nationality in business relationships, my job compared to its.. We had a nice talk!
Then I asked him to bring me home (YES MUM HE DID :)
